The Homeland Security Group and Henley-Putnam University recognize the value of training the nations’ future law enforcement, security and intelligence professionals.

The Homeland Security Group, an information resource for law enforcement, security, emergency management and intelligence professionals recently formed a strategic alliance with Henley-Putnam University.

Henley-Putnam University is a leader in the education of the developing strategic security industry because of its focused curriculum, advanced degrees, collaboration across military, law enforcement and the intelligence community and because of the “real-world experience” of its faculty and founders.

The Homeland Security Group, founded by Anthony M. Davis in October 2001, began as a free information resource. According to Davis, “It is vital that we keep our first responders trained and informed. If we as a nation are going to counter the fight against terrorism, we must challenge ourselves and remain informed of the issues and vulnerabilities we face.”

Mr. Davis, recently authored, “Terrorism and the Maritime Transportation System” and continues to publish the “Homeland Security Report” as a free resource each month.

Henley-Putnam University offers accredited degrees in Terrorism and Counterterrorism Studies, Intelligence Management, Management of Personal Protection and recently began offering a Doctorate Degree in Strategic Security.

The alliance between Henley-Putnam University and the Homeland Security Group is intended to offer insight and critical knowledge to individuals seeking futures in law enforcement or the Intelligence Community. In the coming months, the Homeland Security Group will begin offering key information articles and links to online teleconferences by national experts as an information resource.
